Welcome to ANNA KEY. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "Patron," "you," or "your") and ANNA KEY ("we," "us," or "our"), a proprietorship firm owned by M. ANNA Sehetty, registered and operating from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By accessing our website www.annakey.shop, browsing our collections, placing an order, or engaging with any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our website and services immediately. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the website after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. Eligibility

To use our website and purchase products from ANNA KEY, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. If you are placing an order on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All content presented on this website — including but not limited to product designs, artisan photographs, high-definition imagery, brand narratives, logos, the ANNA KEY name and signature, marketing copy, video content, and the overall look and feel of the website — is the exclusive intellectual property of ANNA KEY and is protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and applicable international intellectual property laws.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from our website without prior written permission from ANNA KEY.
• Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.
• Limited, non-commercial use of our content for personal reference or social media sharing (with proper attribution) is permitted.

3. Product Representation & Authenticity

Due to the handcrafted nature of our pieces and the use of natural materials like top-grain Italian leather, premium metals, and 24K gold plating, slight variations in finish, texture, color, and weight are a hallmark of authenticity and artisan craftsmanship. While we strive for absolute accuracy in our macro-photography and product descriptions, your unique piece may possess its own individual character that distinguishes it as a genuine handcrafted item.

• Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes and may vary slightly from the actual product due to screen settings, lighting conditions, and the natural characteristics of handcrafted materials.
• Each ANNA KEY product comes with a Certificate of Authenticity confirming its origin, materials, and craftsmanship.
• Product dimensions, weights, and specifications listed on our website are approximate and may vary by up to 5% due to the handcrafted production process.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 Pricing

• All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate of 18% unless otherwise stated.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, once an order is confirmed and payment is received, the price at the time of purchase will be honored.
• We make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy. In the rare event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for your convenience:

4.3 Payment Security

All online payments are processed through PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways. ANNA KEY does not store, process, or have access to your full credit/debit card details. All transactions are encrypted using 256-bit SSL technology.

5. Order Placement & Confirmation

• Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is confirmed only when you receive an official Order Confirmation email from ANNA KEY with your unique order number.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, product unavailability, or violation of these Terms.
• In the event of order cancellation by ANNA KEY, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
• Order modifications (changes to quantity, design, or shipping address) may be requested within 2 hours of order placement by contacting us at bookkey@annakey.shop. Modifications are subject to availability and production status.

6. Bespoke & Personalized Orders

For all personalized and bespoke design requests, the patron is solely responsible for the accuracy of engraving details, text, initials, and design specifications. Please review your customization details carefully before confirming your order.

• Once an artisan has begun the forging, etching, or engraving process, modifications cannot be made and the order cannot be cancelled.
• Bespoke orders typically require an additional 3-5 business days for production beyond standard processing times.
• Personalized items are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges unless they arrive with a manufacturing defect or error attributable to ANNA KEY.
• For corporate bulk bespoke orders (10+ units), a separate agreement with specific terms will be provided.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Please refer to our detailed Shipping Policy for comprehensive information on dispatch timelines, delivery estimates, shipping charges, and packaging standards. Key points include:

• Orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours of confirmation (excluding Sundays and public holidays).
• Complimentary shipping on all orders above ₹500. A flat shipping charge of ₹50 applies to orders below this threshold.
• Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
• ANNA KEY is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Please refer to our detailed Returns & Refunds Policy for comprehensive information. Key points include:

• Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for items in original, unused condition with all packaging intact.
• Personalized and bespoke items are final sale and not eligible for returns.
• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after inspection and approval.
• Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.

9. User Conduct

By using our website, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our website, servers, databases, or any associated systems
• Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
• Scraping, data mining, or using automated tools to extract content from our website without written permission
• Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity
• Interfering with or disrupting the operation of our website or the servers and networks connected to it
• Placing fraudulent orders or providing false information during checkout

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ANNA KEY, its proprietor, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use our website or services
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Any third-party conduct on our website
• Any damage to your device or data resulting from downloading content from our website
• Product use beyond its intended purpose

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or your use of our products shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific product(s) giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ANNA KEY, its proprietor M. ANNA Sehetty, employees, agents, and partners from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your violation of these Terms, your use of our website or products, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

12. Termination

ANNA KEY reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our website and services at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Non-payment or payment disputes
• Conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users, our business, or third parties

Upon termination, your right to use our website ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall continue to apply.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising from your relationship with ANNA KEY shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

14. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may refer the matter to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in Bengaluru, Karnataka, in the English language, by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by both parties.

15. Force Majeure

ANNA KEY shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, war, terrorism, strikes, supply chain disruptions, power failures, or internet outages. In such events, our obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.

16. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ANNA KEY regarding your use of our website and purchase of our products. These Terms supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
